Meet Our Coaches
About GSA
GSA was launched in 2016 to provide young athletes in the Columbia River Gorge with professionally experienced soccer coaching. GSA curriculum is heavily based on European soccer academies such as Ajax, Barcelona, and Manchester United, working with players from 5 to 17 years of age. Our coaching staff includes current and former professional soccer players with domestic and international playing experience, as well as successful local coaches. Working with local sponsors, it is the goal of GSA to not only offer the best skills training in the Columbia River Gorge, but to offer it at an affordable price. By investing into local field development, we at GSA aim to make the Columbia River Gorge a summer and winter destination for elite soccer tournaments, drawing the biggest clubs from the PNW.
We at GSA believe that in the early years of a player’s career, technique, foot skills and fundamentals are crucial for a player’s success. An athlete’s developmental years should not be left to chance. When a player is able to create good habits and a high level of technical skill at an early age, they will be more coachable and successful when game tactic is introduced to them. The influence of an experienced and knowledgeable coach can have a lasting impact on an athletes abilities and success. By keeping our coach to player ratio high, GSA is able to provide excellent individual player focus, which other clubs and programs are not able to offer.
